Its Originated by Portugal now Goan traditional dish.
Kulkuls are special sweet curled cookies which are made on special occasions like Christmas. Lovely bits of Sweet dough made out of ghee, sugar and flour fried.They are crisp and have such a dense flavor. They are also known as KalaKala or KalKals.
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 Cup
Semolina/Suji – 1/4 Cup
Powdered Sugar – 1/3 Cup
Ghee- 1/4 cup
Salt – 1 pinch
Milk – 3-4 tbsp
Oil For Frying
1.You can use coconut milk instead of milk.
2.You can also use Wheat Flour instead of Refined Flour
3. You can skip Powdered Sugar on the fried kulkuls/kalkals.
