Chana Saag is made with the green leaves of Chana. When the chana plant grown up, before the on set of the flower the leaves are cut from the top. These leaves are used to make Chana Bhaji and this procedure is also necessary to benefit the plant so that it flourishes well. You can eat Chana Saag with makka roti or wheat flour roti or bajra flour roti in winters.

Chana Saag Recipe Ingredients:
– 250 gm chana leaves
– 50 gm wheat or bajra flour
– 3-4 nos green chilli
– 50 gm garlic
– 1 tsp asafoetida
– 1 tsp cumin seeds
– salt according to taste
– 1 serving spoon ghee

***tbsp = tablespoons
***tsp = teaspoons
