This is a fall and Thanksgiving recipe collab. I am making the most amazing apple pie ever! It is kind of like a cross between apple pie and pecan pie! I hope you enjoy making this for your family! We love this and I have been making it for years and it is always a hit!

Apple Pie Recipe:
1 deep dish pie crust
3-4 large diced and peeled granny smith apples
juice of 1 lemon
3/4 cup sugar (in video I accidentally said 1 cup but the correct amount is 3/4 cup)
4 T flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup flour
1-1/2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup quick oats
dash of salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 jar (or more) caramel topping
Preheat oven to 375
In a bowl, mix apples, lemon juice, sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and salt. Set aside.
To make topping, cut the butter ( or mix melted butter) into the 4T flour. Then add brown sugar, oats, and a dash of salt.
Add apples to pie shell and top with topping, pressing down to make sure topping fills in any spaces in between apples.
Cover crust edges with foil and bake in 375 degree oven for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes remove the foil from the crust and return to oven for another 25 minutes. Remove from oven and add chopped pecans. Return to oven for 5 more minutes. Remove from oven and generously drizzle caramel topping over entire pie. Let cool slightly.
