This Classic French Bread recipe will have you making your own bakery-style loaves in no time. These loaves are soft and chewy on the inside, with a perfectly crisp and golden crust.

2 Tablespoons Sugar or honey
1 Tablespoon Active Dry Yeast
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil or any cooking oil
3/4 Tablespoon Salt

1️⃣1:18 In the bowl of a standing mixer, add warm water (between 95-105 degrees Fahrenheit), sugar, and yeast. Stir, and let sit for a few minutes, or until frothy.
2️⃣2:00 Add the oil, salt, and about half of the flour. Using the dough hook, mix on low for 1-2 minutes, or until all the flour is mixed in.
