1/2 Onion – Small dice
4 Garlic Cloves – minced
2 Cups Canned Diced Tomato
2 Cups Canned Tomato Puree
1/2 Cup Fresh Basil – Finely Chopped (Approx 20 large leaves)
1/2 Teaspoon each Salt & Pepper

1) Prepare and chop the Onion, Garlic and Basil
2) Saute the Onion for 3 minutes – until translucent
3) Add the garlic, salt & pepper, saute for 1 more minute
4) Pour in the tomato products and basil – stir all together
5) Simmer for 1 hour
6) Take off the heat and let cool for 20-30 minutes
7) Now your sauce is ready for your pizza or pasta application.
