Ingredients for Vaal / Val Vegetable
1 Sprouts Vaal 200 gm
2 Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
3 Finely Chopped Onions 1 Cup
4 Finely Chopped Tomatoes 1 Cup
5 Finely Chopped Potatoes 1 Cup
6 Oil 4 tbsp
7 Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
8 Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
9 Asafetida 1 Pinch
10 Chopped Green Coriander Leaves ½ Cup
11 Salt to Taste 1 tsp
12 Crushed Coconut 1 Cup
13 Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
14 Red Chilli Powder 1 to 2 tbsp
15 Coriander Powder 1 tsp
16 Cumin Seeds Powder 1 tsp
17 Garam masala 1 tsp
18 Water 4 Cup
How to Make it
1. Heat oil and add cumin, when it splutters, add ginger and the garlic paste, and sauté till a light brown.
2. Put Asafetida and Mustard Seeds.
3. Put Onion and cook well.
4. Put tomato and potatoes in it too.
5. Now put all the spices one by one.
6. As Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Seeds Powder
7. Will roast everything well.
8. Put 4 cups of water and cook 5 Minutes on high flame.
9. After 5 minutes add Crushed Coconut and cook 10 minutes on medium flame.
