Ingredients of Pabda Machher Sorshe Jhal:
1. Pabda Fish or Pabda Mach
2. Mustard oil
3. Turmeric powder
4. Salt (as per taste)
5. Sugar (as per taste)
6. Slitted green chilli
7. Red chilly powder
8. Chopped coriander leaves
9. Nigella seed (black cumin seeds or Kalojire)
10. Mustard pest
11. Green chilli pest
12. Cumin powder
13. Dry Red Chilli

Method of How to Cook Pabda Macher Jhal:

Step – 1: Marinate the Pabda fish with 1tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp salt. Keep it for 5 to 10 minutes.

Step – 2: Heat the pan too much and then pour the mustard oil.

Step – 3: Fry the fish both side gently.

Step – 4: Now take 2tbsp mustard oil in pan. Heat the oil.

Step – 5: Add ½ tsp black cumin seed (Nigella Seeds) and 1 dry red chilli in oil.

Step – 6: Add 5tbsp mustard pest (1tbsp/fish).

Step – 7: Add ½ tsp turmeric powder and ½ tsp cumin powder powder. Fry the mixture for1 minutes.

Step – 8: Add ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp sugar. Fry again for 2 minutes.

Step – 9: Add some water (as per your preferable consistency).

Step – 10: Add 4 to 5 slitted green chilli in gravy.

Step – 11: Add fried Pabda fish in the gravy. Close the lid. Cook 5 to 10 mint in low flame.

Step – 12: Taste the flavour of salt and sugar and add them as per your taste.

Step – 13: Add chopped coriander leaves (optional).

Step – 14: Put off the gas oven and close the lid for 5 minutes.
