Chinese Sweet & Spicy Salmon

Welcome to Xiao’s Kitchen – A cooking channel dedicated to creating some of the world’s best Asian dishes

400g Salmon Fillet
10g Ginger
4 Cloves Garlic
10g Coriander
2 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
1 Tbsp Chilli Sauce
1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
½ Tsp Sesame Seeds
Salt to Taste

1. Finely chop the garlic, ginger and coriander
2. Place the salmon fillets in a mixing bowl
3. Add garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, chilli sauce, soy sauce, honey and salt into the bowl. Mix well and leave to marinate for 20 minutes
4. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a frying pan
5. Place the marinated salmon into the pan, cover the pan and cook for 1 minute on medium heat
6. Remove the cover, pour in the sauce used for marinating, fry for 2 minutes each side till salmon is cooked
7. Transfer onto a dish, sprinkle with sesame seeds and coriander, and serve
