Vegan Salmon Recipe

For all the vegan who used to love those smoky & salty fish – this is the recipe for you! A rich flavour and amazing texture – and it’s so yummy to eat it with a bagel and cream cheese!

✦ Please note that it takes 3 days to make it, because the marinade sauce needs to absorb into the carrots.

✦ Ingredients:
4 big carrots
1 kg Kosher salt or sea salt
– For the marinade:
3 tbs canola oil
3 tbs apple vinegar
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tsp kelp powder
1 tsp liquid smoke
– Bagels
Tofutti cream cheese
Red onion or Shallots slices

✔ Liquid smoke will add a rich smokey flavour, but it is not a must, and the vegan salmon will have a wonderful flavour also without it.
