Here is Most Delicious Pure Veg Recipe Paneer Dalna. It is also known as Chanar Dalna. It is one of the best vegetarian recipes with Paneer or Bengali Cottage Cheese. So just learn how to prepare Paneer Dalna recipe at home and try it your own.
Ingredients of Paneer Dalna Recipe:
1. Paneer / Bengali Cottage Cheese (250 gm).
2. Potatoes (2 medium sizes).
3. Grated Ginger (2 tsp).
4. Tomato (1 medium size).
5. Slitted green chilli (4 no).
6. Green peas (½ cup).
7. Raisins (15 – 20 pcs).
8. Cumin powder (½ tsp).
9. Coriander powder (½ tsp).
10. Turmeric powder (½ tsp).
11. Red chilli powder (½ tsp).
12. Green cardamom.
14. Bay leaf / Tej Pata.
15. Salt (as per your taste).
16. Sugar (as per your taste).
17. Refined oil.
19. Garam masala powder (½ tsp).
Methods of How to make Paneer Dalna:
1. Heat the pan and add refined oil in it.
2. Fry the paneer cubes very well. Keep aside.
3. Fry the potatoes very well. Keep aside.
4. Add 4 tbsp oil in hot pan. Add green cardamom, clove and bay leaf. Fry for 10 to 15 sec.
5. Add sliced tomato. Fry it for 1 min.
6. Add 2 tsp grated ginger, slitted green chilli, green peas. Fry for 30 sec.
7. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar. Mixed it well.
8. Add 2 tbsp water. Now cook in medium flame for 1 min.
9. Add fried potatoes. Mixed it well. Now cook in medium flame for 2 min.
10. Add 1.5 cups water. When boiling cover it for 10 min.
11. After this add fried paneer pcs. cover it for 5 min.
12. Add ½ half tsp garam masala powder and 1 tsp ghee. Mix it well.
13. Put off gas oven. Close the lid for 5 minutes.
14. After 5 minutes serve hot Paneer er Dalna with steamed rice, paratha, roti, luchi etc.
